Margin Hugging

Many anglers don't fish the margins,  i cant tell you the reason why as many big carp are taken from margins.

Margin hugging fish are tempted away from the feature and end up swirling around the hookbait. They'll home in from all directions and you will end up with too many fish in the swim resulting in foul hooking if you fish a foot or so away from the margin, islands you're already too far from the feature to avoid foul hooking
